KHS Theatre Acting and Musical Theatre Clinic

DATE: Saturday, April 4th
TIMES: 9:00am – 3:00pm and a parent show case at 3pm in the auditorium.
GRADES: 1st - 8th
COST: $65
We are so excited to offer a Spring Theatre Clinic this year at Kingwood High School for young performers! This one-day acting, dancing and vocal clinic with the KHS Theatre Directors and students will culminate in a parent showcase at 3pm on the same day!
*Students will be taking classes in acting, voice, dance, and auditions, all tailored to their age group. Students will be working on skills to help them gain confidence in performing in front of others and develop a love of theatre!
DAY SCHEDULE:
8:45am: Drop-off
9:00-11:30am: Show Rehearsals
11:30am-12:00pm: Lunch
12:00-3:00pm: Classes
DROP OFF:
On the morning of the clinic, parents will be required to sign their student in.
FOOD:
Students should pack a lunch for the clinic and a water bottle. Light snacks will be provided.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE CLINIC:
- Notebook and pen for notes (grades 4-8)
- Reusable water bottle
- Packed lunch
- Attire you can dance in with warm-ups over
- Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes
- Hair ties to keep hair back
PERFORMANCE
All participants will have the opportunity to perform the number they learn during the clinic.
*This one-day clinic is specifically for performers and does not include technical theatre classes. Tech classes will be taught during the KHS Theatre Summer Camp in June. Stay tuned for more information about the KHS Theatre 2026 Summer Camp!
